Sonic Boom is a highly successful hack based on the classic video game Sonic The Hedgehog 2. Compared to the original version, Sonic may now perform up to five special moves: Flying Kick, Double Jump, Diagonal Dash, Downward Dive, and Air Roll. These moves require a lot of magic rings to execute, so help Sonic collect as many priceless rings as possible along the journey.

The basic goal in Sonic Boom is the same as in past Sonic games: collect magic rings and defeat foes. However, there is only one level in this game, so Sonic's speed and new talents are the main focus.
