The Game Boy Color version of Mega Man Xtreme 2 is an action platformer. With the DNA Soul virus, Mega Man X and his partner Zero need to investigate the destroyed island. Take command of the well-known robot Mega Man X in order to battle the Mavericks and bring about harmony. Collect priceless Junk DNA along the route to create new bosses, weapons, and even stages.
Mega Man Xtreme 2's gameplay is akin to that of earlier Mega Man titles. The majority of the features from the home console versions of the series are still present in the game, but it also allows you to switch between characters and upgrade them by using "Souls DNA" that you gather from fallen enemies. Every character has its own set of bosses and levels. Get a special weapon for your Mega Man hero when you defeat the boss of the level!
How To Play
The gameplay is similar to the previous game version, using your keyboard buttons to control the character:

- Z to jump
- X to shoot
- Arrow buttons to move
